Yep, you read that right! Our home energy audits are absolutely free for residential Union County Electric Cooperative members. One of the first steps is for you to chat with our energy advisors. He will help you identify your current usage patterns and make suggestions for improvements.
If we need to do an in-home assessment to solve your issues, we might us a thermal-imaging camera to pinpoint exactly where you're losing energy, whether it's a door frame, windowsill, missing insulation or a spot in your basement that you might not think to check. We'll find it and make suggestions for lighting improvements or other equipment that could help you save.
